Everyone knows what a bloodsucking vampire is and perhaps you might have even heard of physic vampirism, but hardly any know of the most dangerous and deadly vampire that truly lurks among all of us is the money vampire. Sure that sounds silly, but it's more realistic than Dracula and hurts so much more. So who are these financial vampires? First and the worst one of all is you, yes you! How many times have you beat yourself up all week over that material possession you wish you had only to go out and apply for credit over it. Credit isn't the only killer though just useless spending can hurt just as bad. Yeah you won't owe anyone afterwards, but wouldn't it surely be nice to have all that money you wasted over the years. I know you've been there we all have, because spending money is fun sometimes and well everything cost money so becoming you own financial vampire is easier than ever, especially thanks to the next worst thing, credit cards.
Yes debt probably hurts worse than the first for most of us, because so many of us are in it, but just remember who put yourself there. Once you're in debt it's insanely hard to get out and that's for a good reason. It's big business to keep you in debt and if you don't think you not highly desired to be in that state you're terribly wrong. Credit card companies love nothing more than to keep the weak needy spenders in lots of debt with super high interest rates especially when you can hardly make the bare minimum payments. If you continue to make those bare minimum payments you will never see the light of day unless you go through a credit card consolidation company or file bankruptcy and unfortunately either of the two mentioned is very easy anymore.
Perhaps the most ruthless of all money vampires is the advertiser though.
Credit cards and financial lenders can be the biggest money drain, but financial vampirism is everywhere including in you. A television commercial is nothing but a way to try to convince you to spend money. It's easy to set that mental need bomb off in your head and eventually it works on all of us. Everybody wants something and behind every want and need is a financial vampire.
